Bronco of the Day Red '66 Restomod

Here is a red 1966 Bronco wagon that has been rebuilt and modified in almost every way possible. I say almost because they missed one huge flaw in the '66.

From the outside we can see some body mods, the fender flares and removed rocker panels, replaced by nerf guards. Also note the gas filler cap is missing, probably relocated inside the fender well or inside the cab.

We can also see a custom roll cage and 33" tires.

In this picture you can see the major flaw, the Dana 30 still resides in the running gear. I have enough experience with these axles to know that it is a major flaw.

Not much is original in the cab, except maybe the steering column and door panels?

The engine compartment shows us the power brake booster and power steering pump. The motor appears to be a 351 W small block.

 

K Bar S Tributes

K Bar S was a supplier of Bronco aftermarket parts for 22 years beginning (the second time) between 1980 and 2002.

The catalogs were filled with pictures of the Broncos they built and were an inspiration for many Bronco owners of the day (this was before the internet).

The Broncos below were directly or indirectly influenced by the K Bar S Broncos.

This one was built by K-Bar-S for the owner of Viking Pools

The "Rattler" was intentionally built to look like an aged K Bar S build.
