Our Bronco del Dia comes from Mecum Auto Auctions, this 1966 1/2 Cab was built for a SEMA competition and was then put on the auction block.

The motor is a 302 crate engine, backed by a 4R70W 4 speed auto trans and an Atlas T-Case. The rest of the running gear is stock fare, Dana 30 front and 9" rear. Although disc brakes were added for safety.

The interior is all custom sporting a dash from a 1950's F-100, a 40 Ford Deluxe provided the steering wheel, seats console and interior coverings are all custom.

Custom bumpers front and rear including a winch, which is a bit of a folly.

The hood is customized with a scoop and vents, the body was smoothed and the gas cap was relocated to the bed. Then fender flares were added to make room for the bigger tires.

The paint is two-tone Ginger Metallic and Golden Amber Pearl.
