Tuesday Tech: Paint Schemes

Looking to re-paint your Bronco? Want something different? There are as many different paint jobs as there are Broncos.

I have put together some pictures of stock and custom paint jobs to give you some inspiration.

An easy option is to just paint it monochromatic like this factory Wimbledon White 66 Roadster

or this customized orange Bronco

Using a matte monochromatic finish is a unique look....like a stealth bomber

Another example:

You could try for a two or three or four tone look like the Baja Broncos,

This Bronco uses the same concept, the belt line makes for a good transition

Another one:

and another one

You could also mask off sections of the middle for contrasting colors

Using the belt line to paint a stripe is also popular

Rally strips have been very popular on Broncos

You could install a factory stripe kit

This one mimic the stripes on the cut out fenders

These factory stripes look good even today

The factory stripes that went over the hood are popular and look good on stock and lifted Broncos

This owner merged the belt line stripes with the rally stripes on the hood.

Another variation of the same idea

When it comes to painting stripes, there doesn't need to be rules

you could just throw the book out and go with something wild

I hope this gives you some ideas
