Bronco of the Day: Tangelo '71 Sport

Todays Bronco of the Day is a 1971 Sport Wagon that was rebuilt by Bruce Winsatt and his son Brandon.

The body had some rust issues that were dealt with, after the body work was complete, they added 1/2 door inserts and plastic doors, Duff Fiberglass hood and fender flares front and rear. The paint color is Tangelo orange with black.

The stock 302 V-8 was rebuilt and bored/stroked to 347 cubic inches and utilizes a 4-barrel carb via Holley and Edelbrock along with an MSD electronic ignition.

The stock 3speed was replaced by a New Process 435 4 speed with granny low.

Suspension comes in the form of a Wild Horses 3.5" lift with 11 leaf pack springs in the rear and progressive rate coils in the front. Wild Horses also provided the dual shock mounts. A set of dropped radius arm brackets keep the caster correct.

The front Dana 44 was converted to disc brakes and a power booster was added. The tires are 35" Milestar Patagonia M/Ts.

They added a 6-point roll cage and custom bumpers along with some LED lighting, front and back.
