Bronco of the Day: BRC Automotive 1969

Today we have a cool build, a 1969 Bronco that is built for fun.

The owner has his own mechanic shop and decided to give his Bronco a face lift. He had owned the Bronco for quite a while and now was ready for some serious upgrades.

We'll start with the motor, a 1969 351 Windsor, with standard hop ups, like cam, 4 barrel intake, ported heads etc. The engine is mated to an NV4500 5 speed manual and an Atlas II transfer case (with 4.3 to 1 low ratio).

If that wasn't enough reduction, he ordered some custom Dynatrac Dana 60 axles front and rear both with 5.13 gears, air lockers and disc brakes.

The front end has a high steer knuckles that put the tie rods above the axle housing....Rear suspension is supplied by Skyjacker and the front is custom coil-overs providing clearance for the 37" tires.

On the interior you will find a custom dash, a tilt/telescoping steering column and custom seats.

A six-point full cage keeps the occupants safe.

Exterior mods include rear fender flares, custom flared front fenders, heavy gauge steel rockers replace the original sheet metal ones. Custom 3/4 doors (with AMC door handles...), removed and smoothed tail lights and a high rise fiberglass hood. The custom bumpers house a winch and air compressor connections up front and the spare tire out back.

The paint is PPG Screaming Yellow
