Todays Bronco of the Day is a completely customized 1966 1/2 Cab. Built by Elite Auto Service little was left untouched.
Starting with the motor, the original 170 six was replaced with a small block v-8 with factory EFI. The trans is a C-4 automatic, The 9" rear sits in a custom housing and a Dana 44 was swapped in place of the Dana 30.
The rig features swapped in power steering and power disc brakes (at all four corners), replacing the manual steering and manual 4-wheel drums.
The suspension has a 2.5" lift with custom shock mounts and James Duff radius arms.
The body has been modified in a pre-runner style with both front and rear fenders being flared out for wheel clearance. The hood was replaced with a fiberglass unit that has an integral scoop for clearing the EFI manifold. It was then topped off with a custom striped paint job.
