Bronco of the Day: 2WD Chevy Powered '69

I can only think of one word to describe todays Bronco of the Day: Blasphemy!

Turning a Bronco into a 2WD is bad enough, then they add insult to injury and install a Chevy engine? Say it isn't so!

My mission here is to bring you guys weird, wonderful and wacky Broncos.....so take a look at the freak show...

We'll start with the motor, which is a GM LS1, it is backed by the 4 speed auto that came with the motor. There is no transfer case as the front Dana 30 pumpkin was removed and replaced with a hollow tube. A custom front cross member was fabricated to support the motor. Out back sits the stock 9" rearend.

The Bronco sits on a lifted suspension with dual shocks. Power steering was added with heim joint tie rods. The brakes are 4-wheel power drum.

Tube bumpers front and rear along with some nerf bar steps were installed. A Wild Horses fiberglass "GTX" hood was added.

The interior features custom seats, console and a tilt column. A full roll cage was added for safety as well.
