More 1/25 Bronco Tribute Model ideas

I had talked about building a '66 U-13 roadster and the difficulty in finding parts or building parts as the '66 was unique in a lot of ways.

Fireball Model Works has stepped up and will be soon offering a complete kit, making this tribute model a breeze

Many of the parts are available through Ice Man Collections including a 170ci six-cylinder motor with correct Bronco parts.

Uncle Bob Lewis' Bouncing Bronco, a race rig that was there from the early days, now restored and residing at long time sponsor Galpin Ford in Los Angeles.

Starting with a standard Revell Bronco kit, Fireball Modelworks can supply you with their Baja Bronco kit, which will get you the correct size Gates tires, 5 slot mag wheels and rear fender flares.
They also have a roll cage that is close, the 1/2 doors as well as the off-road lights.
Comp resins makes some seats that are close.
There will be some kit bashing and some scratch building, but all in all a doable build.

This one is so easy I am not sure it even should be included, but if you want to build a copy of the 1969 HMS Bronco Hunter, you just need to take a standard Revell kit, add the Baja Bronco kit from Fireball and paint it the correct colors.

This one would be difficult; it would involve some copious amounts of balsa wood and patience. A lift kit and tires from Fireball and the rest is up to you.

This is the '67 Bronco build for African safari, starting with a standard kit, use the roll cage from the kit and add the front bars using solid round stock from Evergreen or plastistruct, the roof would have to scratch built, the tow bar is probably available from an aftermarket supplier or another 1:25 kit.

Fireball will have your tires, wheels and rear fender flares in the Baja Bronco kit.

Another difficult one, this one will require some ingenuity, but the Mobius '65 Custom Cab model kit will get you started. The tube bumpers can be had through VCG Resins by Reese

The nerf bars could be scratch built easy enough.

The Urban Madness Bronco represents a heck of a challenge. Of course, you can buy some parts, but they will need to be modified and no one makes exact duplicates of the bumpers, roll cage and roof rack, Fireball has a roll cage that is close.

Fireball can also supply some Method wheels (17") with very similar tires (35") (with a spare for a few $ extra), a 3.5" lift kit, the LED light bars and a Warn 9000lb winch.

The jack, shovel and gas can are available from The Parts Box
