1/25 Scale Bronco Models part 2: Body Parts

I started this series of posts last month with an introduction to Bronco 1/25 scale models and the lift kits offered by aftermarket companies. 

This month we will look at the replacement body parts

From Olson Brothers we have detailed windshields in stand up and fold down. They come with visors and the correct vacuum wiper motors

Olson also offers the roadster 1/2 door inserts

and tube doors, this kit comes with the door jams, a new dash and steering wheel

While the 1/2 cab top and bulkhead are now available from a Revell kit, Olson Brother still sells their 1/2 cab kit

When it comes to making a realistic looking model, the Revell grill falls short, but no worries, Fireball Model Works has you covered with both an early (66-68) and late grill (69-77) that have the correct curve, lights and headlight rings

If you plan on cutting the rear fenders to add bigger tires, Olson Brothers has you covered with a set of "Jumbo" fender flares

Or all new rear quarter panels with the fender already cut to match the front

Fireball also has fender flares, these are true to the aftermarket ones that have been offered since the late 60's

When it comes to hoods there are a few options:

Olson Brother offers this "High Country" Hood

They used to offer this "Buckaroo" style, I am hoping they bring it back

An ebay seller is offering this hood with the famous "teardrop" hood scoop

Competition Resins sells just the scoop if you would rather go that route

They also have this one that mimics the Mopar Six-Pack scoop

Another option is this Ford Shaker hood scoop and air cleaner assembly from Olson Brothers

Olson Brothers also offered this soft top kit for a while, though it is not in their catalog now
