1/25 Scale Bronco Models part 5: Accessories

Part 5 in this series, click on the links below for the previous posts

Part 1 Lift Kits

Part 2 Body Parts

Part 3 Bumpers and Roll Cages

Part 4 Engine Parts

When it comes to the emblems and chrome, the Revell kit comes with most of what you would need

The Baja Bronco decals

There are however some additional options, this photo etched kit from Model Car Garage has both the standard script and Sport script emblems along with rocker chrome trim and a host of other parts

Fireball Model Works also sells a kit that come with a more realistic spare tire (in canvas cover) with 4 choices of decals, raised Bronco scripts (both standard and sport), 302 fender emblems and bumperetts

Olson Brothers makes what I believe to be the best copy of the Warn 8274 winch, although it is the latest version (with the rounded cover) it is highly detailed.

The kit comes with mounting plate, winch cable, hooks and D rings

Olson also offers the M9000 series Warn winch

Fireball Model works has a version of the M9000, also highly detailed, comes in a set of two with fairleads, cable, hooks and decals

Bolide Plastic Motor Works offers this winch

Texas 3D Customs offers this accessory kit with winch, gas cans, traction boards and KC lights

This ebay seller has these Warn 8274 winches for sale

This 1/25 scale winch looks like it belongs on a tow truck, it is available from an Etsy retailer

Another option for a winch is this one from the MPC Fall Guy/Deserter GMC pick-up kit. They can be found on ebay

This one from Scale Resin Detailers appears to be a recast of the winch above.

When it comes to extraction, you sometimes need more than just a winch, these Hi-Lift jacks are from Fireball Model Works, they come in 48" and 60" scale lengths and have a variety of mounting options

Olson Brothers also makes the famous farm jack in 42, 48 & 60" lengths, they come in sets of three

Bolide offers a kit with jerry cans, a winch an a hi-lift jack

Olson Brothers just began offering Jerry Cans, they come in a set of 4

Perhaps you want more? Bolide makes these traction boards that are quite detailed

When it comes to off-road lights for your Bronco model there are two ways to go, 1. find some on ebay from other kits or 2. go to Fireball Model Works

Fireball has these vintage lights in 4 sizes with both Cibie and KC decals

If you want a more modern look they have multiple sizes of LED Light bars from 6" to 50" in straight and curved

The Parts Box has some accoutrements that might be just right for your Bronco model.

How about an axe?

A shovel? It was once a requirement that all Forest Service vehicles carry an axe, bucket and a shovel and they requested (not required, I don't think) that everyone venturing into the woods do the same. This isn't the right kind of shovel, but it can be given a spade end fairly easily

Perhaps your Bronco only goes to the beach, in that case you would need a cooler

and a surfboard

Your rig going camping, Calnaga Customs has these sleeping bags

Iceman Collections has this roller cooler
