Bronco Barn Finds: 1971 Raven Black U14

One lucky fellow found this project Bronco for sale, not really a barn find, but it is an original Raven Black U14 1/2 Cab, made in 1971.

The Bronco was only on Craigslist for 40 minutes before being sold for just under $10K

The previous owner had already started the project by replacing the springs, rebuilding the motor and the Dana 44 got disc brakes.

Worst Classic Bronco Mods

I decided to create a list of the worst mods ever done or that you could do to a Classic Bronco

If your Bronco mod is in the pictures below, don't get angry or offended, this is just my opinion.

In no particular order:

Chevy Engine in a Bronco, this is blastphamy and completely unnecessary.

These mirrors.....'nuf said

and these ones? Mounted to the fender??

A good way to look like a cousin screwing, meth smoking retard.....put one of these scoops on your Classic Bronco.

Oh and BTW, get rid of those ugly bumpers made from pipe

Patina...

This one is another one that is a matter of personal taste, cutting the bottoms of the fenders, I think it takes away from the Bronco's good looks, might as well buy a jeep.

People WILL judge your IQ when you do stupid shit like this, If you don't know what I am talking about.......

A Jeep windshield on a Bronco, really??

40" tires and no lift kit, why not just build a buggy? and what is with that abortion of a hood??

1979 called, it wants you to return those headlights

I don't have the words.....

Body lifts...I hate 'em, and not just on classic Broncos, I hate them all

Two Wheel Drive Bronco.....might as well have your nut sack removed while you are at it

Leaf springs! Are you kidding me??

Please tell me that isn't an RV roof vent screwed to the hood

In the world of firearms we would call this "bubbafied"

Cooling, schmooling, approach angles are most important amiright?

for the love of God....

We'll finish with this monstrosity; it hits many buttons:

1st offense is the aforementioned pipe for a bumper

Home-made suspension lift is #2

#3 is the home-made body lift, reportedly made from fence posts

and then we have the steering......what a nightmare
