Bronco of the Day: White & Gold '72

Todays Bronco of the Day comes from Park Place Motors in Bellevue WA.

They must have taken this in on trade, as per usual these for sale ad placed by salesmen and not Bronco owners or mechanics, the details are lacking, but here is what we do know:

The Bronco is a 1972 Sport model with 30,000 original miles.

The motor is a small block 5.0 Liter with EFI, probably from a Mustang. The trans is the stock 3 speed manual.

A James Duff lift makes room for the 35" Goodyear M/T tires. The running gear is unique, it features a Dana 44 front and rear, air lockers were installed in both differentials.

Custom bumpers and rocker/nerf bars were installed along with a roll cage.

There were no pictures of the motor or interior. See more here

Bronco Trailers Part 1

As soon as the Bronco was introduced Ford Marketing portrayed the bobtail as the perfect tow vehicle for a camp trailer.

Now with a V-8 Ford shows the Bronco towing a full size camp trailer. When I was young my Father towed a similar trailer, a 1962 Aristocrat Hi-Liner.

A publicity stunt involved a Bronco towing a trailer in the Baja 1000 race

Next time we'll take a look at trailers built from Bronco body tubs.
