What we have here is a classic case of a Bronco that was modified, abused and then neglected.
This poor Bronco needs saving, won't you adopt it today?
This 1971 U15 Wagon was built in early 1971 and was originally Mallard Green with a white top
One of the original owners fancied himself a mechanic and did some rather interesting modifications.
The VIN plates show this Bronco came equipped with the 302 and 3 speed trans, but the axle code (19) was not used in 1971(it was last used in 1969) which was for a 3300lb rear axle. The DSO code of 45 was also not used in 1971. That code was used for Lansing Michigan in 1975 & 76, then for Davenport Iowa in 1977.
At any rate the body is shot and would need to be replaced.
